Bubsy was the love of my life and everyone loved him. We shared this special connection that was obvious to everyone that knew us. We came as a pair. He was such a special and beautiful boy. I remember the first day I got him, it was instant love. He was such a happy cat -always purring and giving his mummy kisses and cuddles. My favourite thing about him was how affectionate he was. He used to wake me up in the middle of the night by meowing by my pillow, I knew exactly what he wanted. I'd lift up the duvet and bed climb under the covers and curl up next to me with tiny little head placed on my pillow. He loved the attention. He used to follow me around everywhere until I sat down so he could jump on my lap and have a cuddle. I will never forget his meow, he didn't sound like an ordinary cat, it was kind of the noise a cow makes. He was such a loud cat, you knew if he was in the room because he would always meow to let you know where he was. Sometimes he would sit by my bedroom door meowing until I got up and followed him to where he wanted to go and sit. He was so spoilt. He was everything to me. I hope I made him as happy as he made me, I felt like the luckiest mummy in the whole entire world. When he got ill I just knew and he knew and we stayed with each other to the very end -he purred until the end. He's left a huge empty space in my life but I am just so blessed to have gotten the opportunity to fall in love with such an incredible cat.
